Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli National Park
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel/ residence and drive to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for a game drive en-route to your pre-booked safari lodge or tented camp for lunch. After a short rest enjoy an afternoon safari game drive where elephants, buffalos, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, giraffes, gazelles, baboons and warthogs are easily spotted. Day 2: Amboseli - Aberdares
After an early breakfast depart from Amboseli and drive to Nairobi for lunch then proceed to Aberdares National Park. Welcome home.
Well it's been a few years since we travelled to Kenya. It's a lot harder now no travel companies go without having to use scheduled airlines. Anyway it was a trip long overdue. We wanted to do an extended safari and we took friends who had never been on safari before so as we wanted to see Kenya at its best there was no way we were doing it with any company other than PD tours and safaris who we have used several times before. After much communication with Patrick via email and what's app calls (amazing how technology has moved on since I first went to Kenya 10 years ago!) we finally agreed on an itinerary and price. Patrick as always gives good, fair advice and we went with all his recommendations. Our driver was Ruwa who was lovely and I would recommend him. Seems PD has expanded quite a bit and there are more drivers and vehicles. He picked us up in Nairobi and we visited Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli, Tsavo West and East and finished in Mombasa and flew back to Nairobi. It was the perfect itinerary for us and we wouldn't have changed a thing.
